Some Product Information Management systems can do a lot more for you than optimizing the way you handle product data. They can, e.g., provide an easy overview of the status of all your products in a workflow.
In the Perfion PIM system, a simple progress bar or a solid colored circle will tell you everything you need to know at once.
Consider the following example:
Here the Completeness of a product is showed as a progress bar and the status “Readiness for web” is shown as color coded circles.
It is very easy for you to see that the completeness of the topmost Audi is 100% and that the one below is a bit more than 50% complete. The readiness for web is maybe even simpler to see. Two Audis are green meaning “Ready” to be published on the website, one is yellow meaning “Almost ready” and the final Audi is red, obviously meaning “Not ready”.
Do you need more bars and symbols?
Perfion is completely configurable and can be tailored to fit your needs. Maybe you need 5 - or many more - of those colored circle symbols, each showing different kinds of readiness: Is the product ready for web, pricelists, catalog, leaflets, sending to translation, etc.? The same applies to the progress bar.
